RETRO-GEAR LLC, Terms and Conditions

Warranty and Liability:

RETRO-GEAR, LLC assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of the products sold by or manufactured by RETRO-GEAR.  All new parts are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. All used, NOS parts, electrical items along with books and printed material have no warranty period.  Of course, this guarantee does not apply in the event of any misuse, neglect, or improper installation.  Your remedy is limited to RETRO-GEAR replacing any defective product sold to you.  In no event will RETRO-GEAR’s liability exceed the purchase price paid to RETRO-GEAR for the products. RETRO-GEAR expressly disclaims all warranties either expressed or implied. RETRO-GEAR makes no warranties, express or implied, as to any product’s merchant-ability of fitness for any particular purpose.  Buyer is solely responsible for determining the proper application and use of the products. RETRO-GEAR’s liability for any claim, whether based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability, relating to the products shall not exceed the price paid by the person or entity to RETRO-GEAR for such products. In no event will RETRO-GEAR be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit, and claims of third parties) however caused, whether by the negligence of RETRO-GEAR or otherwise.

* This limited warranty does not cover products or items that (1) in RETRO-GEAR’s judgment, have been damaged as a result of abuse, accident, alteration, modification, negligence, misuse, or faulty installation (2) have been purchased from inventory clearance or liquidation sales or other sales in which RETO-GEAR expressly disclaims its warranty obligation pertaining to the product.  (3) are electrical parts or components (4) printed material (5) consumables (6) have discounted pricing from RETRO-GEAR’s standard price list.

The above warranty provides the dealer with specific legal rights. The dealer may also have additional rights, which are subject to variation from state to state.


Any product that is unopened and still in its sealed package may be returned within 30 days from the original invoice date for a credit or refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees.  A restocking fee of twenty percent (20%) may be charged by RETRO-GEAR.

Absolutely no returns for:
special orders, custom products, personalized items, electrical products, used parts, books and printed material are non-returnable.

Upon receipt of the complete return purchase, RETRO-GEAR will issue a credit for the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and any restocking fee.  No credit or reimbursement will be issued for any returned item that is received more than Thirty (30) days after the original invoice date. Any and all special-order items are non-returnable

The dealer/customer must contact RETRO-GEAR at 214-960-4642 to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA), and provide the following information:

Date of shipment, P.O. number, sales order or invoice number

The dealer/customer must return the product within 30 days, freight pre-paid to RETRO-GEAR, 519 Bennett Lane, Suite 101, Lewisville, Texas 75057 or to RETRO-GEAR’s designated location.  The RA number must appear on the outside of the shipping carton on any return or they will be refused.

Note: Outgoing or incoming shipping charges will NOT be refunded.

Prices and Specifications:

RETRO-GEAR reserves the right to change all prices, terms, specifications, and other information without notice. Prices are effective immediately and supersede any previously published and or advertised prices.


Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt in the presence of the delivery person if possible. Examine all packages in the shipment for damage. If parts arrive damaged please contact the carrier. You must file a claim with the delivery company immediately, as most delivery companies have set time limits on damage claims notifications. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your claim. Do not send the package back to us. The delivery company will send a representative out to your location to examine the package and its contents so it is very important that you retain all packaging material until the claim is settled. All liability for consequential and incidental damage is expressly disclaimed.
